The husband in a divorce owned a struggling Internet boot sales company that operated from his home. The Arapahoe County District Court appointed Cordes & Company as a monitoring receiver to monitor and report on the business activities of the husband during the divorce. Cordes performed an initial operational and financial analysis of the business and set up monitoring systems with which to track sales, costs and cash flow. Cordes performed site visits, inventory and financial reviews, and maintained communication with both parties. Eventually, the matter was settled within the context of the divorce.
