A contentious divorce involved selling the marital residence and splitting the utilities in four commercial condominiums that were being divided between the parties. The Eagle County District Court appointed Cordes & Company as receiver. The martial residence was sold within 120 days, with funds held back to complete the separation of utilities. Because of the reputations of the divorcing couple, many local contractors were not willing to do the work. Cordes relied on its own reputation and resources to get the job done.
