Following the death of a property owner, Denver Probate Court appointed Cordes & Company as property partition commissioner and instructed the firm to evaluate whether the property in question could be partitioned or whether it made more sense to sell the property and split the cash among the man’s heirs. Upon examination of the property, Cordes found an extreme problem with mold. In a decision that the Court accepted, Cordes recommended selling rather than partitioning.
